Quick and subjective thoughts on movies that i have watched. Rated from 1-10 🌟, but 7 is removed(To not have a cop out answer)

The Odyssey(Cinema) Rating: 8 🌟

First thought would be that it is a really good fantasy movie and a decent interpretation of Homer "The Oddesey". So many cool characters and monsters, really love the cyclops, soooo coool man. As ive read alot of other authors and critics opininions on the movie, my opinion has been a little scewed in the sense that the movie doesnt show or give enough time to some characters and roles. But to my uneducated view and as someone who hasnt even read the book(this will hopefully change now) my opinion of the movie is still very good and id happily give it a rating of 8 🌟. In my opinion the lack of Imax movie screens where I live and the thought that im losing quite a lot information and immersion in the tighter aspect ratio, im also docking some points.(This is because after I watched Dune 2 in the BFI Imax in London, I still cannot unsee how much better it is(crazy)). I also didnt like the use of so many A list actors. LIke why is Batman, Spiderman, the guy from the martian and catwoman all in one movie. But still really good casting on many of the roles. Oh and that guy from the walking dead. "Let me tell you something".

Dune 1(Cinema) Rating: 7(ignore my first rule for this movie) 🌟

Let me start this of with saying that i would of given it a 7 star rating if id of allowed it. I believe this is a 7 in all aspects. It has everything i like about an intreduction to a new movie series. I just really didnt enjoy the slow burn of a story in the middle part. I was left with a feeling that this is only here to make the next movie much better. Doesnt mean the movie is bad. I enjoyed many of the characters, but I still feel the combined movie of Dune 1 and DUne 2 and how the characters advance with the story is much better than if I only look at the first movie. Really beutiful movie though and I LOVE the sounds in this movie(the voice most of all). I'm still giving it a 6 🌟 rating, but as i said, this is a 7. Ok im giving it a 7...
